Mercedes fell in love with fashion and sewing when she was young thanks to her mother, a costume designer. Since then, it's like time has stood still. She keeps from her childhood, a touch of nostalgia for the 70's - her creations embody the bright colors, the patterns and especially the shapes that are both tight and soft for a greater freedom of movement. Mercedes est tombée en amour avec la mode et la couture quand elle était toute petite grace à sa mère costumière. Depuis, c’est un peu comme si le temps s’était arrêté. Elle garde de son enfance, une pointe de nostalgie pour les années 70 – ses créations leur empruntent les couleurs vives, les motifs et surtout des formes à la fois ajustées et souples pour une plus grande liberté de mouvement.
