You don't come to Ville Saint Laurent by chance. There is nothing in the repetitive, industrial landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see that calls for a stop. It's not far from downtown and yet you feel at the end of the world. The buildings themselves recede into the landscape, yet Ville Saint Laurent is a creative, productive lung of Montreal. It is here, for example, that Joe and Lila coexist to produce their fabrics.


On ne vient pas à Ville Saint Laurent par hasard. Rien, dans le paysage ennuyeux et industriel qui s’étend à perte de vue, n’appelle à s’arrêter. Ce n'est pas loin du centre-ville et pourtant on se sent au bout du monde. Les bâtiments eux-mêmes ne regardent par la route. Pourtant, Ville Saint Laurent est un poumon créateur, producteur de Montréal. C’est là par exemple que Joe et Lila se rencontrent pour produire leurs tissus.
